KANBE

The name "Kobe" derives from "KANBE" (神戸) an archaic name for those who supported and protected the shrine about 1800 years ago. The Chinese character 神 means God and 戸 means door.

The founder of this company is one of the most influential and powerful business men in the Hyogo and Kansai regions of Japan. He and his family have a long history working for the people of Japan, having overseen the completion of hospitals, Senior Citizen's Homes, Public and Community facilities, Cultivation of Human Resources and various State and City Development.

With the creation of Kanbe, it is the founder's mission to extend the best of Japan and Japanese technology to the world.
